Creating Study Groups

An expectation of WECHS is for students to form and participate in study groups on their own. A part of your grade in SOAR depends on how you spend your free time and whether you are participating in study groups. It is your responsibility to form, participate, and document study groups. Below is a link to my teacher page and a PowerPoint titled "Creating Study Groups" Click on the document and download. Go through the PowerPoint and post your response to the final slide on the blog as a comment and contractual agreement.

    1. We will meet 1:00 PM on Wednesdays, when he is here.
    2. I will be our leader
    3. We will study ENG 111, because we have that class together.
    4. We will help each other out when working on homework and essays, including peer edits and corrections.
    5. I expect to use this opportunity to get essays and major/difficult assignments done. I have that class Wednesdays right before SOAR, so that lets us do our work long before we have that class again Friday.
    6. If one of us is off task, the other person will tell them to get working. Seeing as how we both want to do these essays/assignments quickly, we should have no problem working until we are done.
